Maintaining TRU Zip is simple and necessary to keep it gliding smoothly. To
clean, simply rinse the zipper rails with fresh water. For optimal performance,
lubricate zipper after cleaning, before prolonged storage, or to improve zipper
performance. Using a cloth, generously apply the lubricant to the top and
bottom surfaces of the rails and the complete garage area, then run the slider
down the full length of the rails to the endcap and back into the garage. Add a
second application and cycle the slider two more times to fill any voids. Wipe
away any excess lubricant with a clean dry cloth and you are ready to go.
